Window for rainfall is fast coming to a close as MJO shifts east.

• Possible for one more TC to form from this MJO after Narelle but looking a slim chance at

this stage

• A few cold fronts to more through early April before a broadscale sinking pattern settles in

giving us a classic Indian Summer with light airs and warm days

• Seasonal break likely in May but not a significant one

• Reasonable frontal action through winter but increasing high pressure systems through

later winter into spring

• El Nino and Pos IOD likely to combine fully by spring to rapidly increase daytime

temperatures as we move into September and October, hence March rainfall deep sub-soil

reserves will need to come in handy
